TODAY STARTS ME!

TURNING 15

By Jonathan Andrews

Life for me becoming 15 seems challenging, but of course it pulls me closer to 16 which is the age when I can officially date.

I want to date a girl who is either hot, sophisticated, caring, religious, and has a great sense of humor. This person could be Kadejha F. Why?  She has been kind to me plus she is hot, and has a great sense of humor. I plan of course have my driver’s license by then. I see myself driving a Ford Focus. It has a great exterior design and it is known to give people an addictive driving experience. Also, or course, I want Kadejha as my prom date because of the way I feel about her. I can see her smiling as I focus on the road and mentally on her.

I will also be starting 10th grade this school year but I feel sort of nervous because it’s another year at High School and I am under pressure because I really want to do my best. I have to!

On the other hand, I can’t wait till next year when my brother Jefferri transfers to High School. We can have Band 1 and 2, but also Food and Nutrition 2 and maybe Spanish 2 together. I’ve known him since I was almost two years. Since then we were great brothers, but also friends, so I would love it if we took some extracurricular activities together. Our little brother Jamison, will in a few years join the fun, as he too will be a teen. Yes, I want this year to pull through so that next year can come for all of the above reasons.

I met a good school friend when I just decided to sit some place and mind my own business.  Davon Reed came along and sat right in front of me this past school year. It was in Comprehensive Health and we bonded as buddies. He used to play Sudoku and was better than me and then months later, I was almost as good as him. One day, we played a game called Mash, it’s when we try to guess answers to questions but our answers are numbers, and the answers get revealed to us at the end, it was a lot of fun. Nowadays I visit him because he lives close by. He makes up funny jokes as I do, and that’s something that makes me want to keep a friend like him.

I have a very good mind as a teen, but I tend to be very sensitive. I think something is probably wrong in the sense of my religion, and it probably is – living by all those rules.

I’m also very good at certain puzzle/rpg games because of my sensitivity or vivid imagination. For this reason, I really do have all A’s in school and some decent friends. So when I grow up, I want to be a doctor, pianist, graphic artist and possibly an actor. I want to be these things:

A) because I like science.

B) because they are my interests.

C) because I like video games and how the music keeps me into them.

This year is going to go by fast and then it’s on to age sixteen. WOW!
